A group of major publishers has asked a New York federal court to award $19.5 million in damages against WeLib, a shadow library accused of large-scale piracy. According to TorrentFreak, the publishers are seeking a default judgment and are recycling legal claims previously used in their case against Anna's Archive, alleging WeLib copied code and much of its content from other pirate sites.
