Wiki Loves Monuments

Wikimedia's Wiki Loves Monuments project is being used to document the damage Russia's invasion has inflicted on Ukraine's cultural heritage sites. Volunteers and contributors are recording monuments that have been destroyed or damaged, creating a public record of the war's cultural toll. The effort highlights how photographic documentation campaigns can double as wartime preservation and evidence-gathering.
