air pump

A do-it-yourself project showing how to build a mini fish farming tank with an air pump machine is drawing large audiences online. The build is presented as a science project, demonstrating small-scale aquaculture that can be done at home with simple materials and equipment.

Construction is underway for AmazonFACE, a decade-long experiment in the Amazon rainforest that will pump elevated levels of carbon dioxide over plots of forest marked by large rings of towers. Set to launch in the coming months, the project aims to reveal how the world's largest rainforest might respond to future atmospheric CO2, testing whether it will keep absorbing carbon or reach a tipping point.

Initial reports say the blaze is not at a refinery but at the Volodarskaya oil pumping and distribution station, described as the main oil distribution hub of the Moscow region. Observers note a similar facility in the Samara region was previously struck by Ukrainian forces. There are also claims that an air-defence missile hit Kotel'niki, some 20 km from central Moscow. Officials have not confirmed the details.
