capped langur

An endangered capped langur has died after being electrocuted at a tea estate in Bangladesh. The death highlights the growing risks primates face as their forest habitats overlap with human settlements and power infrastructure. Conservationists have repeatedly warned that unprotected power lines near fragmented forests pose a serious threat to Bangladesh's remaining capped langur populations, which are already endangered.
