ginger cat

A social media user shared a photograph of an orange cat, jokingly presenting it as a politician — a 'fiercely independent libertarian'. The post plays on the popular internet trope that ginger cats have bold, stubborn personalities, using the language of politics humorously rather than to make a serious point about any real politician or party.

A ginger cat was photographed during a short walk around the Lower Silvermine Wetlands near Fish Hoek, on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. The animal is described as a cute little bugger, and the images are being shared with cat lovers on social media under tagging for cats and ginger cats.
