Baltimore Gas and Electric has sent crews to New Jersey to help restore electricity after a nor'easter knocked out power across the state. The mutual aid deployment comes as thousands of customers remain without service following the storm's heavy winds and damage to the grid, with outages expected to persist until repairs are completed.

A disabled artist has put out a mutual aid request, saying she is at a dentist appointment and that if donations arrive in time, her transport could also take her to a grocery store afterwards. She thanked supporters and shared the appeal with hashtags including MutualAidSavesLives, DisabilityCrowdfund and crowdfund.
