pink robin

The pink robin (Petroica rodinogaster), a small bird found in the humid forests of southeastern Australia, is drawing attention for its striking colouring. The male has a vivid pink chest that contrasts sharply with its dark head and back, giving it an almost unreal appearance. Nature enthusiasts are sharing images of the species.
