vladcodes

A developer known as vladcodes has released Rhun, an open-source code editor written entirely in assembly language, and shared it with the Hacker News community. The project, available at rhun.app, is drawing attention for its unusual low-level approach, as most modern editors are built with higher-level languages. Commenters are likely debating whether hand-written assembly can deliver real performance and maintainability benefits for developer tools.
