Original: Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch giving the Eagles Super Bowl confetti she brought to space
NASA astronaut Christina Koch is giving the Philadelphia Eagles confetti she carried aboard the Artemis II mission around the Moon. Koch, who set records on previous spaceflights, brought a piece of Super Bowl celebration keepsake memorabilia with her, and is now presenting it to the team. The gesture links the lunar mission with a cherished sports memento.
Why now: The unusual combination of a lunar mission and Super Bowl memorabilia makes for a charming crossover story.
