Golfers in Japan are sharing a swing drill called 'kakushin aruki' — literally the 'confident walk' — tied to iron shots and borrowed from baseball mechanics. The clip shows a player striding through an iron shot with certainty, and discussion centres on how the baseball-inspired routine helps commit to a swing and improve ball striking.

Why now: Golf communities in Japan are currently trading tips on iron shots, and this baseball-derived technique offers a fresh, memorable take.
