Norway refuses extradition of activist to Greece
Original: NORWAY REFUSED TO SURRENDER ME TO GREECE. HERE’S WHY THAT MATTERS. https:// aegeanboatreport.com/2026/09/3 0/norway-refu
Norwegian authorities have declined a request to hand a person over to Greece, according to Aegean Boat Report, the monitoring project run by Tommy Olsen that documents migration and pushback issues in the Aegean. The project says the decision matters for asylum and refugee rights, and supporters are sharing it under the #RefugeesWelcome banner.
Why now: The refusal touches on ongoing European disputes over asylum seekers' rights and transfers to Greece, a sensitive topic among migration-rights advocates.
