Original: Yemen’s government launches military operation to reclaim territory from Houthis
Yemen's internationally recognised government has launched a military operation aimed at reclaiming territory held by the Houthi movement. The offensive marks a renewed push by government forces against the group, which has controlled large parts of the country, including the capital Sanaa, since the civil war began. Details on the location and scale of the operation remain limited so far.
Why now: Yemen's long-running civil war could see renewed fighting between the government and the Houthis.
