Gaza Residents Turn to Crowdfunding Amid Ongoing Crisis
Original: Please read and share🙏🙏 # GazaFundraiser # GazaGenocide # GazaStrip # StandWithGaza # FreePalestine # DirectAid # Fund
Residents of Gaza are circulating urgent fundraising appeals online, asking for donations to cover basic needs such as rent relief and emergency expenses. The appeals, tagged with hashtags like GazaFundraiser, DirectAid and StandWithGaza, call on social media users to read, share and boost the campaigns so they reach potential donors as humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip remain dire.
Why now: Ongoing conflict and humanitarian hardship in Gaza are driving people to crowdfund for survival and to amplify appeals for aid.
