Original: Bloomsburg Fair measles vaccine popup addresses outbreak
Health officials have set up a measles vaccination popup at the Bloomsburg Fair in Pennsylvania as the fair gets underway, in response to an ongoing measles outbreak in the region. The clinic offers fairgoers on-site shots in an effort to contain the spread and boost immunity among large crowds attending one of the state's biggest agricultural fairs.
Why now: An active measles outbreak has raised public health concerns just as large crowds gather at the fair.
