Brewers stadium ceiling steals the show in Padres game
Original: No, announcers, the MVP of yesterday’s Padres/Brewers game was the Brewers stadium ceiling. https:// lemmy.ca/post/71866
Fans are joking that the real most valuable player of the Padres/Brewers game was not a player at all, but the ceiling of the Brewers' stadium. The quip suggests the roof played an unexpected role in the action, drawing commentary away from the players themselves and prompting amusement among baseball followers.
Why now: A batted ball apparently interacted with the stadium roof, creating a memorable or controversial moment worth joking about.
