MLB lists century-old 1911 Browns-Tigers game score

Original: MLB Gameday: Browns 6, Tigers 5 Final Score (06/29/1911)

MLB.com's Gameday section shows a final score from June 29, 1911, in which the St. Louis Browns beat the Detroit Tigers 6-5. The listing has drawn attention because Gameday is normally used for current games, not contests played more than a century ago between long-defunct franchises.

Why now: It is unusual for MLB's modern Gameday platform to surface a box score from 1911, prompting curiosity about why the historic game is appearing.
