Eritrean leader calls for end to foreign meddling in Sudan
Eritrea's president has called for an end to foreign interference in Sudan, according to the Sudan Tribune. The appeal comes as Sudan's civil war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces continues, with outside powers widely seen as backing rival sides. Isaias Afwerki has repeatedly positioned Eritrea as opposing Western and regional involvement in the Horn of Africa.
