Original: RSF Militia Detains 32 Aid Trucks in El Fasher, Demands Payments for Their Release
The Rapid Support Forces militia has detained 32 aid trucks in El Fasher, Sudan, and is demanding payments before releasing them. The seizures obstruct humanitarian deliveries to a city under siege, where civilians already face severe food shortages. The incident highlights the RSF's systematic obstruction of relief operations during the two-year war against the Sudanese army.
Why now: Aid obstruction in besieged El Fasher is worsening an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Sudan's war.
