Original: Turn off Apple Intelligence on macOS 27 and get its disk space back

A GitHub project called RemoveMacAI documents the process, and commenters are debating how much storage the features consume and whether Apple should let users fully remove the components rather than just switch them off.

Why now: Frustration over Apple Intelligence consuming significant disk space that users cannot easily reclaim has struck a chord.
