White Sox to use Burke in bulk role for ALDS Game 2

The Chicago White Sox will continue their unorthodox pitching approach in Game 2 of the American League Division Series in Cleveland, with Sean Burke set for a bulk role behind opener Anthony Kay. Burke drew attention after striking out eight batters in the Wild Card round, and the team is leaning on that momentum as it chases a series lead.

Why now: Burke's dominant eight-strikeout playoff start and the White Sox's unusual opener-bulk strategy make their ALDS pitching plans a talking point for baseball fans.
