A jet-powered Ukrainian drone was detected flying toward Vyshhorod, a town just north of Kyiv, prompting a high-level alert rating of 9 out of 10. Open-source monitoring channels flagged the UAV's trajectory as air raid warnings were active. Vyshhorod sits near critical infrastructure including the Kyiv reservoir dam, which heightens concern whenever drones approach the area.
Why now: Ongoing Russian-Ukrainian drone attacks make real-time reports of UAVs approaching the Kyiv area highly alarming to observers.
