Original: Wow, it worked! Fuel hustle or actual act of terrorism, but what ever it was it chased the Yanks out of RAF Fairford, so
US military personnel have reportedly departed RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England, following an unspecified incident that observers variously describe as a fuel-related disruption or an act of terrorism. The airbase has regularly hosted US bombers, and any withdrawal would be significant for Anglo-American defence cooperation. No official confirmation has been given about what happened or why the forces left.
