Original: 2016 Sci-Fi Drama Made By ‘House of the Dragon’ Creator Was Cancelled Way Too Soon

Colony, the 2016 sci-fi drama co-created by Ryan Condal before he went on to make House of the Dragon for HBO, was cancelled by USA Network in 2018 after three seasons. Fans continue to argue the alien-occupation series, starring Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies, ended before it could tell its full story.

Why now: Viewers are revisiting the show now that its creator's House of the Dragon success has put a spotlight on his earlier work.
