Apache North Sea workers back strike over Forties pipeline

Original: Apache workers back strike that could disrupt North Sea Forties oil pipeline, union says

Workers at Apache have voted in favour of strike action that could disrupt the Forties oil pipeline in the North Sea, according to their union. The Forties system is a key conduit for UK crude, so any stoppage risks hitting North Sea oil flows and wider supplies.

Why now: A strike vote at a major North Sea pipeline operator threatens disruption to UK oil production and markets.
