Are Sony's unremastered PS3 games a missed opportunity?
Original: Is Sony missing out by not remastering some of their PS3 games? https://www. resetera.com/threads/1651006 # gaming # vid
Gamers on the ResetEra forum are debating whether Sony is leaving money on the table by not remastering some of its PlayStation 3 titles. With many classic PS3 games still unavailable on PS4, PS5 or PC, fans argue updated versions could tap nostalgia and reach new players, while others point to the technical difficulty of porting the console's unique Cell architecture.
Why now: Players are frustrated that many PS3-era classics remain locked to aging hardware as remasters dominate industry discussions.
