Ukraine's Security Service carried out a strike on October 4 against Khanskaya airfield in Adygea, southern Russia. Reports say the attack destroyed Su-34 and Su-35 fighter aircraft and damaged an ammunition depot at the base. The strike, if confirmed, would mark a significant blow to Russian air assets deep behind the front line.
