Original: jaymie graham
North Melbourne have appointed Jaymie Graham as their new AFL senior coach, replacing Alastair Clarkson. Graham, a former Fremantle and West Coast assistant, said he finally feels he belongs in the top job, with his personal trauma shaping a rapid rise through coaching ranks. The appointment came after Nathan Buckley pulled out of the race and other high-profile candidates exited a chaotic coaching hunt, prompting debate over whether the Kangaroos have taken a gamble.
Why now: North Melbourne have just announced their new senior coach after a turbulent, high-profile search.
