Pastor warns chasing online approval can become idolatry

Original: Chasing the crowd's approval can slip into idolatry. New post on the Idol of Platform vs. the approval Jesus freely give

A pastor has published a new blog post arguing that seeking the crowd's approval, especially through platforms and visibility, can quietly become a form of idolatry. Writing for LeadBiblically.com, the author contrasts the 'idol of platform' with the approval that Christians believe Jesus gives freely, urging leaders to prioritise faith over popularity in their daily lives.

Why now: Faith communities are currently debating how social media culture and the pursuit of influence conflict with Christian values.
