One Nation to base headquarters in Gina Rinehart's Brisbane office
Original: One Nation to establish headquarters in multimillion-dollar Brisbane office bought by Gina Rinehart
Pauline Hanson's One Nation party will set up its headquarters in a multimillion-dollar Brisbane office building purchased by mining billionaire Gina Rinehart. The move deepens ties between the right-wing party and Australia's richest woman, a long-time supporter, and is drawing attention to Rinehart's growing influence over the political right ahead of future elections.
Why now: The close financial and logistical relationship between a major political party and Australia's wealthiest person raises questions about her political influence.
