Original: I Used to Believe Climate Change Was a Hoax
The Tyee has published a first-person account from a writer who once believed climate change was a hoax and explains what changed their mind. The piece retraces how doubts about climate science gave way to acceptance of the evidence, offering a personal perspective on why scepticism persists and how people move past it. It adds to ongoing debate about climate denial and public attitudes toward warming.
Why now: Climate scepticism and how people change their minds on it remain a recurring point of public debate.
