Minecraft Players Joke About Hiding Chicken Farms From PETA
Original: Don't let # PETA see our # ChickenFarms . # Minecraft # MinecraftMeme # MinecraftMemes # VideoGame # VideoGames # Gaming
Gaming communities are sharing a meme joking that PETA should not see the chicken farms players build in Minecraft, where chickens are routinely kept in cramped pens and killed for meat and feathers. The joke plays on the gap between the game's cartoonish animal treatment and real-world animal welfare concerns, with players riffing on their inhumane but efficient automated farms.
Why now: The meme is circulating because it humorously highlights how Minecraft players' automated animal farming would horrify animal rights activists.
