A new plugin for Anthropic's Claude Code automatically launches Doom whenever a user is waiting for the AI to finish processing. The classic shooter runs in multiplayer mode, pairing waiting users with other people whose Claude sessions are also running. When the AI completes its task, the plugin tallies the results. The quirky mash-up of coding tools and retro gaming is being shared among developers.
