Sober lets Linux users play Roblox without Wine
Original: Play Roblox on Linux without Wine, using Sober
Sober, a tool for running Roblox on Linux, is drawing attention for letting users play the game without relying on Wine or a Windows compatibility layer. The approach matters because Roblox has historically been difficult to run natively on Linux systems, and the coverage highlights it as a simpler option for Ubuntu and other distributions.
Why now: Linux gamers have long lacked an official Roblox client, so a Wine-free solution is notable news.
