Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has left the England camp over a quad injury that could keep him out for up to two months. The setback rules him out of England's current fixtures and is a significant blow for Bournemouth as he was expected to play a key midfield role this season. The club will now assess the full extent of the damage.

Why now: England are in the middle of an international window and losing a squad player to a two-month injury directly affects both the national team and Bournemouth's season.
