Critics mock Europe's push for cheap electric cars

Original: 🌍 # Europe thinks it can save the world by stacking a bunch of cheap # electric # cars like # Jenga blocks. 🚗💸 Apparentl

Europe is being criticised online for promoting cheap electric vehicles as a major climate solution. Commenters are sarcastically dismissing claims of a sevenfold increase in electric car uptake, arguing the targets are exaggerated and that battery-powered cars are being oversold as a way to save the planet. The exchange reflects wider scepticism about the EU's electric vehicle ambitions and whether aggressive adoption targets are realistic or genuinely effective against climate change.
