Israeli university professor indicted for planning terror attacks
Original: Bar-Ilan University prof. indicted for planning terror attacks against Arabs
A professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel has been indicted on charges of planning terror attacks targeting Arabs. The indictment was reported by The Jerusalem Post. It is a striking case because the suspect is an academic at a major Israeli university, and the alleged targets were Arab citizens or residents. Details about the professor's name, the specific plot, or the court proceedings were not included in the initial reporting.
Why now: The involvement of a university professor in an alleged terrorism plot is unusual and sensitive in the current Israeli-Palestinian climate
