Honda and partners develop wireless charging for EVs on highways

Honda and two other companies are developing wireless power transfer technology that would charge electric vehicles while they are driving. The firms plan to run demonstration tests on Japanese highways from fiscal year 2027 onward. The project aims to address one of the main drawbacks of electric cars, the need to stop and plug in to recharge.
