French outlet Mediapart has released the documents behind its investigation into alleged antisemitic writings by Jordan Bardella, president of the National Rally. Since the initial revelations, the RN has furiously rejected the reporting, calling it 'delirious remarks', 'madness' and 'crude falsehoods'. The publication of the source material is a direct answer to those denials, escalating a politically charged dispute ahead of French political debate.

Why now: The RN and its president are facing damaging allegations and are publicly disputing the evidence, making the story highly contested.
