SpaceX scrubs launch of 21 Space Development Agency satellites
Original: SpaceX scrubs launch attempt for 21 data transport satellites for the Space Development Agency
SpaceX called off a launch attempt carrying 21 data transport satellites for the US Space Development Agency. No new launch date was given at the time of the scrub. The satellites are part of the Pentagon's proliferated constellation in low Earth orbit, designed to relay military data in space. Delays in this programme have drawn scrutiny given its role in US defense architecture.
Why now: The scrub affects a high-profile military satellite deployment, prompting interest in the cause and new launch date.
