Rourk launches bid for U.S. House District 10
Original: Rourk aims to serve U.S. House 10 from the 'radical middle'
Rourk is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas's 10th Congressional District, positioning the campaign around what the candidate calls the 'radical middle' — an appeal to centrist, pragmatic politics rather than the partisan extremes. The announcement, covered by the Austin American-Statesman, frames the race as an alternative for voters frustrated with polarization in Congress.
Why now: A new congressional campaign with a centrist platform has been announced in a competitive Texas district.
