Sony swaps PS Plus Essential game in Japan

Original: playstation plus essential

Sony has quietly changed the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for Japan, pulling Hunt: Showdown 1896 from the monthly games and replacing it with a title that holds a review score below 40. The unexpected switch has left subscribers questioning why one region receives a different, lower-rated selection than the rest of the world.

Why now: PlayStation Plus subscribers are reacting to Sony giving Japan a different and seemingly worse monthly game than other regions.
