Halide 3.2 unlocks full control of iPhone variable aperture
Original: Halide 3.2: Full control over Apple’s variable aperture Apple offers a total of four aperture values for the new iPhones
Camera app Halide has released version 3.2, giving photographers full manual control over the variable aperture in Apple's latest iPhones. While Apple's own Camera app limits users to four fixed aperture values, Halide makes the aperture fully adjustable, appealing to photography enthusiasts who want finer control over depth of field and exposure on the new hardware.
Why now: Apple's new iPhones feature a variable aperture, and Halide is the first third-party app to expose it fully.
