Unagi Naruse Hashimoto branch to close, exiting Sagamihara

Original: 鰻の成瀬

Unagi Naruse's Hashimoto branch, located at the north exit of Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is ending operations, meaning the eel restaurant chain will withdraw from Sagamihara entirely. Locals who knew the branch as a familiar station-side dining spot are noting the closure and what its departure means for the area's food scene.

Why now: Announcement of the closure of a well-known eel restaurant at Hashimoto Station has drawn local attention.
