Posts claim that unrest on the streets of France is worse than conditions on the frontlines in Ukraine, and that some police officers are resigning to join protesters. No official confirmation of these claims has been verified, and the comparison between French street unrest and an active war zone is being widely circulated and debated.

Why now: Ongoing civil unrest in France has led to dramatic and exaggerated comparisons circulating online.
