Britons trust Celebrity Traitors contestants more than politicians
Original: Britons trust Celebrity Traitors contestants more than politicians in head to heads
A new poll by Ipsos suggests British people place more trust in contestants from Celebrity Traitors than in politicians when the two are compared head to head. The finding highlights low public confidence in UK politics, with reality television personalities viewed as more honest despite the show being built around deception and betrayal.
Why now: The unusual poll result reflects deep public distrust of politicians and curiosity about the popular show.
