Iran war cost tracker reports $43.6B Pentagon spending at day 211

Original: A New Cost Tracker (the old one has been taken down) "IRAN WAR: Day 211 Low-intensity fighting continues. $43.6B Pentago

A publicly shared cost tracker for the Iran conflict says low-intensity fighting has continued into day 211, with $43.6 billion in Pentagon spending against independent estimates of $135 billion or more. It lists 19 to 23 US troops killed, more than 850 wounded, and over 9,000 killed overall, noting there has been no congressional vote and no end in sight. An earlier version of the tracker was taken down and replaced with this one.

Why now: Ongoing concerns about the cost, casualties and lack of congressional authorization in the Iran conflict.
