AMD has cut prices on several of its X3D desktop processors, with the flagship Ryzen 7 9800X3D now selling for $429, bundled with a free all-in-one liquid cooler and a game. The discounts make the popular 3D V-Cache gaming chips more affordable and intensify competition with Intel in the desktop CPU market.
Why now: The 9800X3D is one of the most sought-after gaming CPUs, so a price cut with freebies is major news for PC builders.
