Ireland's head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson has called on UEFA to avoid drawing Ireland and Israel against each other in future competitions. The request comes amid heightened tensions over the war in Gaza, which have made fixtures between the two countries politically charged and led to protests around matches. The comments have drawn attention to how football authorities handle matchups with political sensitivities.
