Airport traveller notes sea of iPhones and AirTags

Original: Did a quick scan of my surroundings at the airport this morning and saw an overwhelming amount of iPhones and Air tags,

A traveller passing through an airport this morning scanned the crowd and noticed an overwhelming number of iPhones and AirTags, with barely any Android devices in sight. They are left wondering whether the imbalance reflects genuine market share or something about how the devices and Bluetooth detection interact, sparking a small debate about phone ecosystems.

Why now: The observation touches on the ongoing iPhone versus Android rivalry and Apple's dominance in everyday settings.

• Did a quick scan of my surroundings at the airport this morning and saw an overwhelming amount of iPhones and Air tags, with barely any Android devices. Is this because there aren't that many around, or there is some blocking built into the OS? # android # iphone # bluetooth #… · mlabowicz@hachyderm.io · 4
