Open-source project Linthra pitches AI DJ for local music libraries

Original: Anyone here actually using Linthra? 👀 I had an idea for later an AI DJ like Spotify, but using your own local / Jellyfin

A developer floated the idea of adding an AI DJ feature to Linthra, a free and open-source music tool, that would work like Spotify's DJ but draw on a user's own local library via Jellyfin, Navidrome or Plex. The AI component would likely be a paid optional extra because of API costs, and the developer is asking whether people would actually use it.

Why now: The idea is being shared to gauge interest in combining self-hosted music libraries with AI curation, a topic of growing interest.
